Happy Thanksgiving to everyone celebrating!
Today is Thanksgiving, and despite my bad year so far, there are still things I’m thankful for in my life. I know, surprised me too.
I did this last year for What I’m Thankful For in 2018 along with a variety of Thanksgiving related posts that I’ll scatter throughout this post in case you’re spending this Thanksgiving alone, or you’re and introvert that needs a break after a day full of extended family you only see twice a year.
So what am I thankful for this year? You’ll have to scroll down to find out!

Minus my emergency room visit back in February, my physical and mental health have overall been pretty good. While I did have a downward spiral in my mental health last month, I was able to get the proper help I needed from my psychiatrist and therapist.
I’ve been trying to keep myself healthy and move to a more fit and fabulous lifestyle (and potentially live a little more like everyone’s favorite, Keanu Reaves) My disordered eating has been more under control, but I still have issues with binging. You can read all about that here.
Despite there are days or even weeks where I feel like it’s time to jump ship (which, it sort of is) having this job has been the only stable thing in my life for the past almost 6 years.
Despite the issues I have with it, the people I work with are incredible. They’re helpful and caring, and definitely don’t mind me having to take a few hours here and there for my various doctors’ appointments. It’s one of the reasons I’m reluctant to leave. I don’t think I’ll ever find a better working environment.
Despite getting hit hard by the various car issues I had, I was able to move to a less expensive apartment (though with some roommates) and I’ve been able to save a lot more than before. I hope to one day be able to afford an apartment where I can have my own office so if I ever decide to do blogging full time, I’ll have a place to do it that’s not my bedroom.

As an introvert, I don’t have many friends, but the ones I do have I’d do just about anything for. This year I wouldn’t have been able to get through a lot of what happened without my friends. They were there for me when I needed to vent and would check up on me when my mental health was declining.
Without my friends I would definitely not be in the same place I am right now. So to all my friends who’ve been there for me this year, thank you!
I’ve been trying to take this blog more seriously in the recent months. So if you’ve been someone reading, commenting, liking, or sharing any of my posts or social media statuses, thank you!
I wouldn’t be where I am today without the help of you guys and there’s now 200 of you who follow me on WordPress alone! So give yourselves a pat on the back!
What are you thankful for this year? What do you think of the things I’m thankful for? Let me know in the comments!
