SunMed Disposable Cart: Watermelon OG Review

SunMed Disposable Cart: Watermelon OG Review

New CBD cart, new review!

This time I ran out of my CBDistillery carts and they sadly no longer sell them, only the juice, so I had to find a new place to get my CBD cartridges from.

I took a look over at Your CBD Store in Bristol, CT. They sell exclusively SunMed products. After accidentally buying a sketchy cart (definitely look up your brands before you buy!!) I decided to give this one a go.

I was not paid for this review, nor was I compensated in anyway. I bought the cart with my own money for the purpose of use and review.

Price Point

I paid a total of $38.29 for this cart, including tax. They’re $36.00 a piece. It’s a .5mL cartridge, which isn’t that bad for the price.

One thing to note about CBD products is usually the pricier the product, the more reputable it tends to be. This works in that higher quality products usually mean a higher priced product. However, don’t be fooled into paying more than you should for your vape products. ALWAYS research the company to see if they’re reputable and worth the price they’re asking for.

I’ve come to the conclusion that watermelon is just a bad flavor for hemp related products. I don’t get much of a watermelon taste at all. In fact, I can still taste some of the hemp if I’m being honest.

Watermelon OG is definitely one of the lighter flavors. Though I’m waiting for the day I can inhale the taste of a watermelon jolly rancher.

The company has other flavors including:

  • Blueberry AK
  • Lemon Haze
  • Pineapple Express
  • Strawnana
  • Girl Scout Cookies
  • Grape Ape
  • Watermelon OG

The store I went to had a handy chart that told you which flavors are for which benefits. I believe Watermelon was supposed to be for relaxation and focus. I don’t know how much I believe that…

Personally, I think I might give the blueberry a try if I go with this brand again. I’m curious to see what “euphoric” feels like.

Broad Spectrum over Full Spectrum

Personally, I prefer broad spectrum CBD over full spectrum because the broad spectrum is made so it has 0% THC in it. Full spectrum is allowed to have up to .3% THC. I know the percentage is minimal, but I’m not quite ready to make that jump just yet.

I feel like I should view it like I do non-alcoholic beer, which I do drink, but because THC is something that 1) isn’t legal in my state and 2) can cause a positive drug test result, I rather stay away from it. Especially right now as I’m job searching and I could be hired at any moment and be required to go through a drug test. I don’t know if a future employer would take my CBD use into consideration if it comes back positive.

The effects are pretty good. I had a really good night’s sleep after using it and actually dreamed pretty well as well. I’m not normally one to dream, so this is an interesting side effect.

I overall felt more relaxed and it was enough to help me take a nap after having my morning coffee. That’s something hard to do!

However, it does give me a fuzzy feeling in the front of my brain like I get when I’m having brain fog. It’s given me the focus to want to do things, but it’s also created some blurred feeling where I can’t think straight enough. I think you can see the problem here.

My search for broad spectrum CBD vapes lead me to SunMed. I do like that they’re broad spectrum, and that they’re relatively accessible as well as financially not breaking the bank. They’re standard sized carts and not that bad for what you’re paying for.

Personally, I don’t like the taste. It does remind me of the Boost Watermelon flavoring, just more potent, but it definitely doesn’t remind me of watermelon, the fruit or the candy flavoring.

It’s also given me that brain fog feeling in the front of my skull. I don’t really believe in chakras but it’s like my third eye is being clouded. So I have the focus to want to write, but I don’t have the creativity to write. That’s a problem.

Personally, I won’t be buying this flavor again. I’m willing to give their other flavors a try to see if the brain fog feeling is throughout all of their carts or just this one flavor.

Just want to let you know that whoever sold you this cart left you very uninformed. None of those “carts” have any flavor whatsoever. The names are NOT flavors, they are the plant Strains that were used to create the oils. I have used the Watermelon OG and the Blueberry AK and prefer the results of the Watermelon OG over the Blueberry AK.

I bought the watermelon and I love it! seems to bring on a mild high! Relaxes me and I have Meneirs disease, seems to help me not to have attacks!

That’s great to hear! It wasn’t as good as some other products I’ve used but it was helpful at least.

      XO Steph
