I love fall.
It’s my favorite season. I feel at home during the autumn season and it’s the only time of the year I feel like I’m the most like myself.
If you’ve ever vibed with a season before you can understand this.
What happens when you vibe with a season?
What Happens When You Vibe With a Season
Every fall I start to fell more at home with myself than I’ve ever felt the rest of the year.
I love everything about it and you can read more about that on my 8 Reasons Why I Love Autumn post, but the gist is that I love the weather, the colors, the atmosphere, the smells, and the togetherness that people tend to feel around this time of year.
I’ve even considered moving somewhere where the fall or autumn season is longer than where I am now. Right now fall is maybe a few weeks, depending on how and when winter decides to show it’s ugly head.
I love everything about the fall season and I relish in everything about it.
You Feel at Home
When the weather starts to get cooler, I start to feel more at home with myself.
I overheat like crazy so the summer is one of my least favorite seasons, next to spring when my pollen allergy goes into overdrive.
I love going for walks in the brisk, cool air, surrounded by the natural colors of the changing leaves. I literally feel more like myself when it’s this time of year.
I’m happier, despite the things that go on in my life. I feel more content with things, less anxiety, and overall just feel better about myself.
I don’t know why I vibe with this season so much, but I love it and it feels like home.
You Feel Better About Yourself
I know I just touched on this, but I really do fell better about myself.
While I’m not exactly happy with some of the things going on right now (I have some problems in my life right now) I’m really feeling so much more content with my life.
If you’re not familiar with me, I have depression and anxiety and they rule my life.
Except for during the fall.
For some reason, right now, I’m feeling the best I’ve ever been.
I feel like a whole new person. It makes me wish fall was a longer season than it is.
You Feel Joy
I stock up on my fall scented favorites, grab my favorite foods, and just relax.
Anyone with anxiety can tell you that trying to really relax when you’re an anxious person just doesn’t really happen very often.
But in the fall, I feel joy. It makes no sense to me, but I vibe with this season so hard that it just makes me smile.
I relish in this time of year and I try to hold on to that feeling for as long as I can.
Usually it dies down once it starts to snow, but if we have a lighter winter this year, it can go farther into November than normal.
You Love Life
I feel like I’m repeating myself, but I just can’t stop talking about how great it is when you vibe with a season. You really do love life more than normal.
Right now I’m writing this post, wearing a cozy, old sweatshirt with my window open and a candle lit.
I’m loving life so hard that I don’t want it to stop.
I’m going to be sad once winter blows through, and when you live in New England, that can happen as early as October 31st, as we found out a few years ago.
But this feeling, this loving life, smiling all the time, feeling energized, and wanting to be productive time in my life is such a great break after sweating through summer and before I start to deal with the snow and slush of winter.
I know this is a short post, but I really wanted to talk about how great I’m feeling right now. 🙂
