So way back when I went on vacation down to the Jersey Shore one of the stands was selling CBD products. As someone who is very interested in CBD oil and the benefits it has for my life, I was interested in trying out new flavors or products.
They had a variety of things, I believe the stand was part of the Luck Leo’s sweet shop. They sold teas and chocolates that were available both inside the sweet shop and outside. However, the rest of the CBD products were sold at the stand outside.
I went with the Boost CBD watermelon flavored vape cart (200mg/.5ml cart; broad spectrum distillate, full spectrum profile). If you want to know how I felt about the vape cartridge, keep on reading!

BoostCBD Watermelon O.G.: Review
I had never had a flavored vape cartridge before, the other two I had were just generic hemp flavored, so I was excited to try something with more variety! However, I wish I hadn’t, at least, not at first.
I don’t know if you’ve tasted hemp/cbd before, but it is very, very potent. I’m not exactly sure what I was initially expecting, but it definitely wasn’t the taste it had. I personally couldn’t tell it was watermelon flavored. I could tell it wasn’t just plain and that there was some kind of flavoring, but nothing overtly watermelon. So if you were expecting this to taste like a watermelon Jolly Rancher, then this isn’t your thing.
Though over time I got used to the taste and it’s actually not half bad, so it’s definitely something you have to get used to if you’re not big on the hemp flavoring itself.
Once again, if the CBD is good, then it has the desired effects I’m looking for. Usually, this is to help me fall asleep. Before the recent addition of a new medication to my routine, I was using CBD nightly to help me get to sleep and more importantly, stay asleep.
Having high anxiety, it makes doing just about anything more of a challenge, but it makes calmer things like reading, relaxing, and sleeping even more challenging. SO CBD had been such a huge help in actually getting me to sleep. Like, there is a huge difference between nights I vape and nights I don’t.

Price Range per ml
Unfortunately like most retailers, Boost CBD doesn’t have an online store. So until they gain the ability to buy online, this looks like it’s something that will be specific to the Jersey Shore areas. I went to Seaside Heights Boardwalk, but it’s labeled as manufactured in Beachwood, NJ.
However, the price point was pretty good. Though the cart is smaller than the last ones I had previously, so the price reflects that. However, it does take a while to get through a cart in general. Unless you’re vaping multiple times a day, it should last you at least a month or two. I still have the same cartridge I bought back in June and I’m about halfway through.
For the .5ml of watermelon I believe I paid $26.50. Which isn’t that bad, and I was on vacation, so even if it is a bit more than you would normally pay for .5ml, I was and did have no problem splurging on it.

I do hope to get back down to the Jersey Shore in the next year. Mainly because they were selling freshly made CBD chocolates. There were only a few varieties, but they looked delicious. I bought one to go along with some kind of discount or something (I honestly can’t remember why, I think it was a buy x get 1 free situation) and I had it before going on the Ferris wheel. As someone afraid of heights, it definitely helped me not have a panic attack at the top.
Overall, the product gets a 2 out of 5 for flavor and 5 out of 5 for effects. I wish I could try more flavors and if I do get my hands on some, I definitely will let you guys know where and how you can give this stuff a try without having to make a trip all the way to New Jersey.
- Flavor isn’t that bad, but is a bit weird. Definitely not a jolly rancher.
- Price is pretty good, or at least I think so.
- CBD does what CBD does and helped me fall and stay asleep. Get’s the Short Stuff approval on this end of things
- Very excited to try their other products. Guess I need to head back to the Jersey Shore
